Vr1 Mission in Vision

Vr1 (abbreviation for We Are One) is our way forward 2 unite fellow mankind through a simple hand sign with 3 simple alphabet, internationally understood.

Vr1 also stands for Value Respect Integrity or Victory Resolving Issues related to the eradication of violence, war and poverty or even to create a better green environment for our children of tomorrow.

So along the way to create our 1 support through arts, Vr1 café epitomises on original, real & good (org) creative contents of values, reflecting our diverse culture with a peaceful and positive outlook, without any discrimination. Thus the food menu is designed to cater to all Malaysians.

As for the entertainment, unlike other establishment which caters to mainly Top 30 hits and covers, Vr1 encourages and provides a platform for our local artists to blend in their musical flavor through our West:East / 50:50 repertoire, i.e: 50% covers and 50% originals.

Just like a balance in life like yin & yang, it’s time to also make it real for Asian faces in the world of entertainment, where the Western world has monopolised the industry. Two Thirds of the world’s population live in Asia Pacific but our representation is maybe 5%?

So where’s the equality?

Apart from budding musicians with org. stuffs, Vr1 café also encourages stand up comedy, for individuals who can make people laugh with clean fun jokes. Explicit contents with excessive sex and political agenda may be censored by the management. We do not want our license to be revoked by the authorities.

So if you have what it takes to be an entertainer, do drop us a demo of your original materials, for musicians. For stand up comedians that can make people laugh, we like to hear from you too.
